The Knights of St Columba are leading a campaign to have a statue of St John Ogilvie at Glasgow Cross, which was the site of his martyrdom in 1615. The campaign officially launches on Sunday July 23rd at St Andrew’s Cathedral cloister at 3pm and it would be great if you could come along to show your support.
There will be a public rosary in honour of Saint John Ogilvie and a scene from the acclaimed play “The Martyrdom of St John Ogilivie” a work by Stephen Callaghan.
It promises to be a great day for a great Scottish saint!
