Sad to see the media slamming down on a politician’s personal beliefs, when Jacob Rees-Mogg specifically stated that his personal belief in abortion being indefensible and belief in the Catholic faith would not affect democracy or laws in the UK. What an intolerant society we live in. In this environment it was brave for Jacob Rees-Mogg to honestly state his personal belief in the sanctity of life from the moment of conception. His is an example for us all to hold firm in our position when facing hostile questioning.
SPUC has written an article contrasting this interview with another by Ann Furedi, the leader of the abortion provider BPAS, who wants to legalise abortion in all circumstances. https://www.spuc.org.uk/news/news-stories/2017/september/whos-the-extremist-jacob-rees-mogg-or-bpas
